More than 65,000 drivers will now have direct access to Toll Collect's live data through the Lkw.App, providing up-to-date occupancy information for over 1,000 truck parking spaces along highways, according to Aparkado.

Gradual Expansion

The data will be gradually integrated into the app starting with the launch of the pilot phase on July 1, 2025. The aim of both partners is

to advance digitalization in the transport sector and to offer practical solutions.

The app developed by Aparkado provides information on the occupancy of highway parking spaces with an update every 15 minutes. An additional 900 parking spaces will be gradually included by December 31, 2025.

Predictive Parking Search

Since the application's inception, there has been a desire to significantly improve the

parking situation for truck drivers and to reduce daily work stress. This aim is now highlighted by the cooperation with Toll Collect GmbH.

The app offers truck drivers in Europe information for efficient and predictive parking searches, including live data and occupancy forecasts for the next 15 hours – enhancing route planning and avoiding unnecessary waiting times.

According to Aparkado, the

parking search currently takes up to an average of 45 minutes per occurrence, generates approximately 16 kilograms of CO₂ emissions, and incurs about 71 euros in additional costs for transportation companies per driver per month.
