TransFollow has introduced a new mobile application called "TransFollow Drive" that enables drivers to comprehensively manage their transport operations. The app, now available in the Google and Apple app stores, allows users to record milestones, share locations, report exceptions, and edit transport documents digitally—even in offline mode. Shippers, freight forwarders, and other logistics players benefit from real-time data exchange, which enables seamless transport oversight.
"The new TransFollow Drive is more modern and user-friendly, compatible with Android and iOS mobile devices, and can be integrated into the vehicle's IT systems. It aims to be a transport and order-focused application, enabling drivers to intuitively complete all daily tasks, including revising and signing all related documents such as eCMR, while overseeing the entire supply chain," said Alexis Perinet-Marquet, Managing Director of TransFollow.
A wide range of configurable features and availability in 13 languages has made the app a constant companion for drivers
and subcontractors.
The system supports drivers in carrying out all transport tasks and adapts to specific operational requirements. Transport documents such as eCMR, national consignment notes, and packing lists, as well as any damage photos, can be directly digitized and updated. Additionally, TransFollow Drive offers various digital signature options—from simple to advanced signature methods—with all processes meeting the requirements of the eCMR Additional Protocol as well as GDPR and ISO:27001 standards.
Immediately resolve issues in the transport process
Another key feature is the bidirectional messaging system: drivers can directly communicate with their back offices via push notifications, resolving issues in the transport process immediately. Messages are automatically translated into the driver's language, significantly simplifying communication.
The design and user interface of TransFollow Drive aim to facilitate entry into the app for drivers from own fleets as well as subcontractors. Workflows for pickup, delivery, and transport are structured, with GPS
tracking documenting each event. A unified transport view allows all orders and related documents to be managed clearly in one place. The app is also tailored for complex transport scenarios such as less-than-truckload (LTL), full truckload (FTL), cross-docking, hazardous material transport, or the transport of returnable items, as stated.
For shippers coordinating freight forwarders or subcontractors
TransFollow targets shippers with Drive, particularly those coordinating transports with multiple freight forwarders or subcontractors. The app supports the digitization of transport and documentation processes and offers legally compliant signature methods. Also, freight forwarders and logistics providers, previously hindered by technical barriers to seamless integration, receive a flexible solution: TransFollow Drive may be used independently or integrated into existing systems like TMS, WMS, or ERP.
TransFollow aims with its digital solutions to make the entire transport process more efficient, secure, and transparent. In addition to the mobile app, the company offers its services
via APIs, a web portal, and messenger services such as WhatsApp, Viber, and Telegram. TransFollow supports companies across Europe in reducing paper processes, minimizing errors, and increasing sustainability and profitability. Thanks to its close cooperation with international logistics associations and a broad partner network, TransFollow has established itself as one of the technologically leading platforms in the field of electronic consignment notes (eCMR).
