As of September 1, Werner Matthiesen has assumed the position of Managing Director Central Europe (DACH) at Fristads. The Swedish workwear supplier announced this in a press release. With his many years of industry experience and his international background, he

is to strengthen the company in a key region.

According to Fristads, the native German has extensive experience in the textile and workwear industry, including in senior roles at F. Engel and Sika Footwear. Early on, he was drawn to

the international environment – initially as a tour guide, later in sales. After moving to Denmark, he increasingly took on responsibilities in international export business. Most recently he served as Head of Export at Sika Footwear A/S.
