The provider Shippeo, specialized in real-time transparency, integrates its data-as-a-service solution into the SAP Business Network Global Track and Trace. This is enabled by an expanded partnership with SAP.
Transparency and Forecasts
Companies should thereby be enabled to transparently monitor multimodal supply chains from the first to the last mile. Shippeo provides, according to its own statements, event-, geolocation-, sustainability-, and predictive analytics data, for
example precise estimated times of arrival (ETAs).
Using AI-assisted forecasts, risks could be identified early and disruptions in supply chains could be proactively managed. As with Shippeo's platform solution, shippers should be able to track multimodal, multi-leg transports and receive transparency as well as reliable forecasts for their shipments. The provider also supports onboarding and implementation.
"Our AI-powered real-time data on transport and sustainability are
now available directly in SAP Business Network Global Track and Trace. This provides SAP customers with unparalleled data quality, completeness and timeliness—as well as predictive ETAs, enabling them to proactively reduce risks and build more efficient, resilient and sustainable supply chains," said Shippeo CEO Pierre Khoury.
