Körber has launched a compact, semi-automatic unloading aid with variable load handling in the form of easy-to-use flaps at different heights and integrated conveying technology. According to a statement from the technology group on June 17, this system, called "ErgoUnload," is compatible with all common telescopic belts. It is positioned in the trailer in front of the telescope without further installation efforts

and is immediately ready for use.

According to Körber, the "ErgoUnload" significantly improves the ergonomics and efficiency of the previously manual unloading process. While unloading currently usually requires significant effort and two employees, Körber's "ErgoUnload" allows for high throughputs of up to 3,000 packages per hour/dock with just one operator, more than double compared to the conventional method. At the same time,

the particularly strenuous lifting and turning movements are reduced, and the lifting force for employees is decreased by approximately 10 percent.

With a high speed in the unloading process and minimal setup times of the system, the use of the "ErgoUnload" shortens the unloading cycles at the dock by up to 50 percent according to the company. New installations can thus be

planned with fewer docks, and existing ramps can be used more efficiently. At the same time, the unloading activity would become more attractive and ergonomic—with reduced staff requirements.

"The Körber 'ErgoUnload' not only improves ergonomics and performance—it is also a good example of how innovative automation solutions can address central challenges such as personnel, time, and cost pressures," said Oliver Kaufmann, Product
