On Tuesday, both parties signed the lease agreements for above-ground areas and underground rock caverns, as well as an agreement on traffic- and volume-dependent port fees. The contracts stipulate the compensation to be paid to the port authority for the use of the port's land, facilities, and infrastructure by Inter Terminals Sweden. Göran Eriksson, CEO of the Port of Gothenburg:

“With a 25-year contract, we gain long-term stability and predictability, which provides us with a solid foundation for developing an energy port for the future, focusing on the transition from fossil to renewable products. Conditions for ExpansionInter Terminals Sweden is an

operator in the storage and logistics of liquid energy products and materials, as well as biofuels such as HVO and methanol. The company has been operating in the Port of Gothenburg since 1964 and is the port's third-largest customer in the energy sector.
