The charging infrastructure specialist GP Joule and the fuel card provider UTA Edenred have announced a cooperation to establish a DC charging offering. The project subsidiary GP Joule Connect is the preferred partner for DC charging with UTA Edenred's customers. This solution is intended to integrate public, depot, and semi-public charging. Through this partnership, more than
60,000 UTA corporate customers can receive tailored support in transitioning to electric commercial vehicles, the providers advertise. This is hoped to create the foundation for a sustainable transport sector.
The service offering for depot charging includes a comprehensive needs analysis, planning, and the realization of the corresponding AC or DC charging infrastructure. It also encompasses technical
operations, training, efficient charging management, and reliable processing of charging procedures.
The solution also enables companies to monetize their charging infrastructure: they can release the charging infrastructure to third parties for a fee and thus expand their charging network within the framework of semi-public charging, the partners further outline. The software platform from Spirii, an international
specialist in charging and software-as-a-service solutions, is used for the processing of charging operations and charging management in home and depot charging.
"Our many years of experience in the field of charging infrastructure for commercial vehicles allows us full planning and rapid implementation for UTA Edenred's customers," says Manuel Reich, Managing Director at GP Joule Connect.
